For the implementation of the program, JSC "Uzmilliybank" was allocated funds for restoration and distribution:
— an equivalent of 80 million US dollars for a period of 10 years (with a 3-year grace period) at an interest rate equal to the Central Bank’s base rate;
— an equivalent of 20 million US dollars allocated on a grant basis to finance students’ professional employment and internship expenses.
According to the resolution, the "Step to the Future" Center was established under JSC "Uzmilliybank".
The "Step into the Future" program was approved by Decree PQ-61 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 14, 2025.
The "Step into the Future" program is designed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and other organizations to support employment and entrepreneurship orientation of higher education graduates in Uzbekistan.
The program is intended for "graduating stage" and "lower stage" students.
The main goal of the program is to prepare young specialists for employment, develop entrepreneurial potential and improve adaptation to the labor market.
